Nashville musician Lucas Alexander walking with his acoustic guitar

Hi, I’m Lucas

My passion for music started when I was 5 years old, writing my own symphonies on the family piano. As I got older, I knew I wanted to share music with others, but a piano isn't exactly bonfire-friendly, so I picked up the guitar — and what began as a hobby grew into a full-blown career. I’ve been singing professionally for over 10 years, and have spent the last 5 years playing in hotels and honky tonks along Broadway in Nashville, all while continuing to bring that same energy to private events, weddings, and corporate gatherings.

From playing weddings in beautiful gardens and corporate events 88 floors above the Chicago skyline, every gig reminds me why I fell in love with singing in the first place.

Having grown up in Chicago and made my home in the hills of Tennessee, I love curating music for each event — pulling from everything between Johnny Cash and Justin Bieber, reading the room and adjusting as the night goes, because every event has its own rhythm.

At the core of what I do is empathy. I pay close attention to a crowd, picking up on what they need and how they're feeling, and I play to that. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and there's nothing better than seeing someone loosen up and get into the moment, which is really all I'm there to do — set the mood, not steal the show.
